“I started my career as researcher at the Free University of Brussels (Research Centre for Sociology and the Research Centre for Leisure and Policy Planning). The following 18 years, I have gained experience at the European Centre for Work and Society (ECWS) in Brussels and Maastricht. I learned how to set up and implement various projects in regional, national and European context. During my career I have collaborated with various organisations in Europe, more in particular with research institutes and universities. Cooperation with other professionals is still very important in my current working life”.
SAGO Research founded in 2005 by Dominique Danau (sociologist), is a small organization based on 30 years of experience in research, evaluation and advice in a regional, national and European context. Since 2005 supports SAGO Research public clients and non-governmental organizations in solving policy issues and in increasing the effectiveness, efficiency and relevance of their performance. The main areas of expertise of SAGO Research are social policy and gender. The core activities of SAGO Research are evaluation, research, organizational development and project support.
